National Collegiate Student Loan Trust sues to collect delinquent student loan

A student loan trust sues to collect an unpaid student loan from two Port Arthur residents.

National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-3 filed a lawsuit Oct. 31 in the District Court of Jefferson County 136th Judicial District against Arlesia Carrier and Willie Carrier, citing breach of contract. lsc pa

The plaintiff states it is seeking payment of a student loan that was taken out by Arlesia Carrier for her education at Lamar State College. The complaint states Arlesia has failed to pay the amount due. Willie Carrier is liable for the student loan as guarantor and has failed to pay, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff is seeking the total amount due of $12,529.96 together with interest, attorney fees, costs and any other relief deemed just. National Collegiate Student Loan Trust is represented in the case by Michael J. Scott PC.
