He received his juris doctorate from New York University (NYU) School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Moot Court Board and was a semi-finalist in a national moot court competition involving a securities class action question. Jason’s experience also includes advising a multi-national corporation on compliance issues, providing recommendations to a start-up company regarding novel insider trading questions, and conducting mediations in New Jersey, New York, and Texas. Jason is admitted to the state bars of New York and Texas and to various federal courts, including the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York.
A native Houstonian, Jason received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology as well as Art from Rice University, where he graduated cum laude. While there, he obtained a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston. He then decided to become a counselor at law and moved to New York for the opportunity of attending a top ten law school. After graduating from NYU Law and practicing law for a boutique litigation firm in New York City, Jason returned home to Houston to join Weston Legal.
When Jason is not at the office working on behalf of clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his daughter, as well as participating in various volunteer activities.
